FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions — Keratin Glue for Hair Extensions
What is the melting point of your keratin glue?
Our professional keratin glue has a melting point of 200–210°C and a stable working range of 145–155°C. This high melting point ensures the bond remains secure during everyday heat styling without softening prematurely.
What is keratin glue made of?
Hair Pro Shop keratin glue is formulated on an EVA/PA professional copolymer base. It is hypoallergenic, non-toxic, and completely odor-free — safe for salon use and compliant with EU cosmetic standards. Manufactured in Italy.
How long do keratin hair extension bonds last?
With proper application, bonds last 10–14 weeks. The formula provides 95% moisture resistance, which significantly extends wear duration compared to standard keratin glues.
Which hair extension methods is this keratin compatible with?
Our keratin glue works with all hot-fusion methods: U-tip, I-tip, flat-tip, and nano-tip. It can be used for both initial application and rebonding appointments.
What sizes are available?
Available in 20g, 50g, 100g, 500g, and 1000g. The 20g and 50g options are ideal for first-time buyers and small salons. The 500g and 1000g sizes are designed for high-volume professional use.
How many colors of keratin glue do you offer?
We offer 15 professional shades — from transparent and blonde tones to deep brown and black. Transparent keratin is recommended for blonde and highlighted hair. Colored variants are matched to natural hair tones to make bonds invisible after application.
What is the difference between transparent and colored keratin?
Transparent keratin glue is ideal for blonde, platinum, and highlighted extensions — the bond is invisible regardless of hair color. Colored keratin is formulated to match specific hair shades, making it the preferred choice for brunette and dark hair where a transparent bond might show through.
Is your keratin glue suitable for sensitive scalps?
Yes. The formula is hypoallergenic and free from harsh chemicals, making it suitable for use on clients with sensitive scalps. It contains no ammonia, formaldehyde, or strong solvents.
Where is your keratin glue manufactured?
All keratin glue products are manufactured in Italy under EU cosmetic regulations. Italian-made keratin is recognized among professionals for its consistency, bond strength, and low allergenic profile.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship to 40+ countries across Europe and internationally. Orders are processed in EUR with local currency display available at checkout.
Can I use your keratin for rebonding?
Yes. The formula is specifically designed for both new application and rebonding. The pellet form allows precise dosing during maintenance appointments.
What makes Hair Pro Shop keratin glue better than alternatives?
Three key differences: Italian manufacturing under EU standards, a high 200–210°C melting point for professional durability, and a full range of 15 color-matched shades. Most competitor products offer 2–4 shades. Our 95% moisture resistance rating is among the highest in the professional segment.
